911 Emergency number to use when you travel abroad

EMERGENCIES – 911 ABROAD 

If you’re in an emergency situation abroad, you’ll need to know to connect the police, an ambulance, or even the fire department. Not every country uses “911” as its emergency contact number, as we do in the United States.

Here’s is a handy list of emergency contact numbers in foreign countries. Write down-or – save in your cell phone – the numbers used at your travel destination. Hopefully you’ll never you’ll never need to use these, but it’s worth knowing the number just in case.
